Souper Bowl of Caring

Souper Bowl of Caring

Story Update: Thanks to everyone who donated to the SOUPER Bowl of Caring! 170 cans plus additional items totaling 137 pounds of food/products and $176 was delivered to the FISH Pantry on Feb. 3rd!

The children and Youth of St. Jacob’s invite you to help tackle hunger this year on Super Bowl Sunday! Bring a can of soup or other shelf-stable food item or toiletry (especially feminine hygiene products like maxi pads and tampons) to church on Feb. 2nd. Alternatively, drop $1 into the soup pot. All items collected and cash donated will go to the Lake Township FISH Pantry.

New this year, all our children and youth will be invited to help transport the food collected at the Souper Bowl of Caring to the FISH Pantry. The kids will help sort the items and stock the shelves in a very hands-on way that will connect them with FISH and help them understand food insecurity.
