The Lenten Journey Begins
Mid-week Lent services will continue through our on-line conferencing on Wednesday evenings beginning March 4th at 6PM. Please follow the instructions in your email to join the conversation. Give Up Something Bad For Lent by James Moore will serve as our study guide for Lenten worship.
Give Up Something Bad for Lent - During Lent each year Christians give up something as an act of sacrifice and spiritual discipline. Often we give up something like chocolate, knowing that after Easter Sunday we can once again enjoy what we have given up. What if we take this further – give up something we would be better off not doing at all? Our study will invite God’s help to focus eliminating at least one bad habit or attitude that is destructive to us and our world.
