St. Jacob’s Celebrates 170 Years!
You are invited to join the St. Jacob’s family as we honor our birthday—celebrating 170 years weaving together the past, the present, and the future. The celebration begins at 9:30AM on Sunday, September 24, 2017 with a combined worship service featuring some of our favorite hymns, a message from the Synod, special guests and a choir anthem.
After worship, we will enjoy a luncheon and will expand on the theme of our celebration with special activities. You will be invited to add your personal connection to the celebration as we look back over the fabric (literally!) of our 170 year history. Explore the many ways that your “thread” is woven through our church as you reconnect with friends and family. Enjoy photographs, scrapbooks, and various displays. You’ll even have the chance to put on your sleuthing hat and hunt up the mysteries in an indoor scavenger hunt!
So that we have adequate food, please RSVP for the luncheon by Sept. 20th. Click here to RSVP electronically (be sure to include the total number attending) or add your name to the sign up list on the bulletin board outside the office. You are also welcome to call the office at 330-877-2676. If you forget to RSVP, come anyway! Questions? Contact Dawn Princehorn or the church office.
