Following is our Worship Schedule
(beginning August 31st)
8:00AM Sundays: Guitar Liturgy
This service is less formal than the traditional Lutheran worship service, though it remains liturgical in style. We have acoustic guitars, bass, keyboard, flute, conga and other instruments to provide the musical accompaniment during this service. Communion is offered during this service on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
10:30AM Sundays: Traditional Worship
This service is the traditional liturgical Lutheran service. Our late service is the more formal of our services with worship assistants, acolytes and the pastor all robed. We sing traditional hymns accompanied by our organ or piano. Communion is offered at this service on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
9:15AM Sunday School for All Ages -- Begins September 7th with RALLY DAY!
Between our services, we offer Sunday School for all ages. The elementary age children participate in a rotational style program where they concentrate on learning a specific topic Bible story for 4 weeks. They attend a different workshop each week where they experience the topic Bible story in different ways -- through Video, Cooking, Music, Computer, Games, Art or Storytelling. The junior high children participate in a traditional classroom format where they concentrate during alternate years on the Old and New Testament. Our high school students participate in a topical discussion format class led by our Youth Director; and our adults also participate in a discussion format class. (Please see our Ministries page for more details)
9:00AM Fellowship Hour
We offer a fellowship hour between services for those who prefer not to attend Sunday school. Coffee and pastries are served, and people are able to enjoy a time of fellowship where they have the opportunity to catch up with those who attend opposite services. The coffee and pastries are delicious, and the fellowship is great!
