The youth Bible study will be changed to Sunday, November 23rd from 11:45am-1:00pm. We will be meeting for lunch in Garnes Fellowship Hall! Please note that this is not the last Sunday of the month, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to look at the book The Losers Club, Chapter 5, about unlikely heroes in the Bible. All youth in 7th-12th grade are welcome to attend!

On Souper Bowl Sunday, February 1, 2009 the confirmation class will collect one-dollar donations in large soup pots as worshippers leave church.  The confirmation class will be joining teens across America who are transforming Super Bowl weekend into the nation's largest youth-led weekend of giving and serving through the Souper Bowl of Caring. Last year, youth across the nation raised over $10 million for charities through participating in Souper Bowl of Caring. The money collected from St. Jacob's will be donated to Fish - no money is sent to Souper Bowl of Caring headquarters.

             Five students and two adults went to Amsterdam, Ohio for a mission trip! The group brought two thousand books to the Amsterdam library! During their stay the group sorted books, cataloged books into the computer system, and prepared the books for the shelves. Also, the group was able to go swimming, meet with another youth group, and get to know each other better!
