Join the fun at the St. Jacob’s 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off! This year contestants/cooks must choose the type of chili he/she will be preparing from one of the following categories —Traditional, Hot & Spicy, Vegetarian, and Chicken/White. We are looking for eight cooks to sign-up but “the early bird will catch the worm “or in chili cook-off terms; the earlier you sign-up, the better your choice of chili to choose from – only two in each type will be allowed! The sign-up sheet for eight “chili cooks” will be posted on January 8. Another sign-up sheet will be posted for people to bring side dishes such as corn bread or muffins, grated cheddar or jack cheese, sour cream, sliced green onions, crackers, crusty bread, salad, dessert, 2 liter pop, case of water, and hot sauce. A panel of three judges will be chosen by the Social Ministry Committee to choose the Grand Prize winner, but everyone attending will be asked to select the People’s Choice winner!
