Our confirmation class begins each fall for 6th through 8th graders. The goal is to teach our children what it means to be a Lutheran Christian. 

This year's Confirmation Instruction  will begin on Sept. 18th.  This year we will be studying key stories of the Old Testament, the 10 Commandments in Luther’s Small Catechism. The class meets once per month September, October, November, December, January, March, April and May and is taught by Pastor Schafer.

As instruction proceeds, Pastor Schafer guides the students through a multi-year study of key components of our liturgy (ex. the Apostles's and Nicene Creeds, the Lord's Prayer), teachings of Jesus, and Martin Luther's "Small Cachetism." By the end of the three year study, students are welcomed as confirmed members of the congregation.
