The anniversary committee is busy planning for a special 165th anniversary celebration. On Sunday, July 15, a special worship service will be followed by a brunch. We encourage you to invite former members and any relatives who grew up at St. Jacob’s — all are welcome. Prior to this date, we will be asking folks to make a reservation for the brunch to make certain there is plenty of food for everyone.
In addition to a special worship service and brunch, there will be a history display in the Atrium, special music during the worship service and a short program following the brunch.
The History Committee, under the direction of Richard Werstler has been very busy preparing an updated publication of our church history. This update will feature the last fifteen years of history since the 150th celebration publication completed in 1997.
